TREN - WonderlandThe literary masterpieces of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (27 January 1832 – 14 January 1898) are ageless. Best known by his pen name, Lewis Carroll, perhaps his most remembered and most treasured literary offerings are Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865), and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871). Both of these wonderful, magical stories have been read many times over by both young and old alike.

On 27 May 2016, Lewis Carroll’s epic adventures of Alice will appear on the silver screen in a new Walt Disney Pictures release Alice Through the Looking Glass. Set some six months after Alice’s first adventures, Alice once again enters a world of fantasy, but this time, she opens the portal through a mirror into a world that she can see beyond it. In the film, Alice returns to the quizzical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter played by veteran actor, Johnny Depp, before time runs out.

Lewis Carroll. Known for his uncanny ability to combine wordplay, logic, and fantasy in a whimsical way, enables those reading his classics to almost imagine themselves as going along on one of Alice’s amazing adventures, or even being one of the interesting characters that she meets along the way.
