Debra Fotheringham

Debra FotheringhamDebra Fotheringham has been a singer and musician since her youth, but for years, she felt like she had no voice unless she wrote her own music. Although she labels herself with the adjectives “folk” and “pop,” she has a jazz singer’s vocal talent and unusual tone. Her songs are far from ordinary, too, with folk, jazz, and pop influences, plus a touch of sophistication in the lyrics. Her newest offering is a digital album called Time, downloadable from her official website. All the songs are her own, except for the lead track, also called “Time,” which she co-wrote with Stephanie Mabey, the composer of David Archuleta’s hit, “Glorious.”
