Someone has very wisely said, “There can be no companion better than a brother and there can be no better friend than a sister!” This is evident whenever a person sees a picture of world-renowned entertainer David Archuleta and one of his siblings. The close bond that they share with one another and the genuine love that they have for one another shines through.

Like her big brother, Jasmine (Jazzy) Archuleta also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She returned home in May 2017 after serving a full-time 18-month mission in Houston, Texas, and David was present at the Salt Lake City airport to welcome her home.

Jazzy recently celebrated her 21st birthday, and David decided to honor her by writing a Dr. Seuss-like poem about her and sharing it in an Instagram post. A line from the poem reads, “She got back from her mission this year, and as you can see she toppled over little children dear.” David was referring to the slight incident that occurred at the airport as Jazzy comes down the escalator and rushes to greet her family. She hugs her mom and the two fell on a little girl standing nearby.

In his post, David also expressed his gratitude por su hermanita (for his little sister). He said, “I’m grateful for this insightful and easy-to-talk-to sister of mine. She radiates and her smile certainly shines.”
