About Us

“We recognize the universal  power of music to touch the hearts of men and women everywhere and in all generations – to inspire and encourage, to sustain and lift, to comfort and bring peace.” – President Gordon B. Hinckley

Our Mission Statement:
“Our mission is to share the light that is within us by sending positive, uplifting messages to the peoples of the world to give them hope and encouragement. We will accomplish our mission by spreading the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the “Good News,” by using music. We believe that music is the universal language and that the healing balm that it provides to the souls of men is incomparable to any other source. We further believe that as lives are touched by the power of good, wholesome music, those same lives can be changed for the better.”

“Mormon Music” was created for music lovers of all faiths, not just members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons). This website highlights LDS music artists who may differ in backgrounds, musical styles, tastes, and experience. But they have one thing in common: they are Mormon. Many of these artists have generously shared tracks, bio information, pictures, and videos so you can gain access to a wealth of music media for free. Thank you for visiting Mormon Music. Come back often, since new content is being added regularly!

Do I have to pay for this service?

No. You’re welcome.  Enjoy your free music!

On MormonMusic.org, you can listen to and download free audio tracks, create free playlists, learn about artists who are Mormon (LDS), access artists’ websites and blogs, watch music videos, create your own “favorites” list of albums, artists, or videos, get updates on tour dates, and find out about up-and-coming LDS artists.

What About Submitting my Work?

MormonMusic.org welcomes your submissions of MP3 files for our consideration. If you have downloadable audio files to contribute, click on the Contact button at the bottom of the Home Page.

MormonMusic also welcomes your personally-made music videos and will from time to time request covers from fans. These online submissions are a great way to create an online presence and launch your career.  Approved videos will show up in our video viewer, where visitors can write reviews and give you the five stars you deserve. To submit your music video, use the Contact Form after creating your video and placing it on YouTube. MormonMusic.org allows you to keep all the rights to your work, so you may still use it professionally.

We Don’t Want to Miss any Promising Artists

If you see that we are missing a Mormon in Music on our “Artists” pages, please contact us to let us know.  We will consider all suggestions carefully.
Thank you to all of you who have supported our little website by donating mp3’s, videos, information, and other content to help us grow.  We have received a wealth of feedback from people around the world, who wouldn’t have otherwise experienced great music, and love the site.
